An Overview of Fin-Tech Companies
Deregulation of the financial services industry began in the early 1990s. Two decades later, smart devices and apps initiated frenzied innovation in this space. Today, there are hundreds of newcomers seeking to continuously disrupt and replace old systems and processes with newer, better, more user-friendly solutions.
This document provides a brief overview of several dozen Fin-Tech companies. An effort was made to select those companies whose activities are most relevant to American doctors. Please let us know if you feel we should expand coverage to any others.
Our perspective in covering these firms is agnostic: we are not setting out to provide critical reviews. But you should feel free to leave comments reflecting your thoughts or experiences with these providers.
