Workshop 1: Essential Steps in Financial Planning: An Introduction, July 19, 2023

In this kick-off webinar, we dive into the essentials of the financial planning process. A financial plan, a crucial roadmap, outlines your financial priorities or goals and establishes the actions needed to realize them over time. You'll learn how to create this plan independently, collaboratively with a partner, or under the guidance of a professional financial planner. Our aim is to empower you to take control of your financial journey

Workshop 2: Decoding the Fundamentals of Investing, Aug 2, 2023 

During this session, we cover the fundamentals of investing, with a special focus on crafting a passive investment portfolio. This critical knowledge influences a variety of financial planning choices. We'll tackle how to make informed decisions regarding retirement plans, 529 college savings for children, home purchases, brokerage account management, and even small business investments. Additionally, we might delve into the emerging realm of cryptocurrency, all from a passive investor's standpoint

Workshop 3: Strategies for Reducing and Controlling Debt, Aug 30, 2023

In this session, our primary focus is on effectively managing debt, specifically addressing the common challenges professionals face—student loans and home mortgages. We'll delve into strategies and insights to navigate these burdens and find feasible solutions. Time permitting, we may also explore the significance of credit scores, which play a crucial role in assessing our creditworthiness. Understanding how banks, car dealerships, and insurers evaluate our ability to handle debt will empower you to make informed financial decisions.

Workshop 4: Art of Contract and Salary Negotiation, Sept 20, 2023

Join us for this engaging workshop where we delve into the intricacies of employment contracts and offer letters. We will explore the concept of a standard contract, decipher compensation terms, and shed light on common clauses typically found in these legal documents. Additionally, you will gain valuable guidance on effective interviewing techniques and negotiation strategies. Workshop 5: Blueprint for Successful Retirement Planning, Oct 11, 2023
